Sylomer® is a highly elastic material made from fine-cell polyurethane elastomers. It is primarily used in vibration isolation, suspension engineering, and noise control applications. Thanks to its excellent dynamic load-bearing capacity, Sylomer® is ideally suited for the production of damping elements and similar components that must respond flexibly to high compressive loads.


Using waterjet cutting technology, we manufacture precision-engineered Sylomer® components for our customers. For surface applications, we also provide custom-cut sheets and panels made to specification.

Properties of Sylomer®


Sylomer® is available in various product grades that differ in density and load-bearing capacity. This ensures that the appropriate material can be selected for virtually any design and load requirement.


Sylomer® functions like a spring. Its fine-cell structure allows it to return to its original shape after every dynamic load cycle. In addition, Sylomer® is resistant to oils, greases, acids, and alkalis.


Extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to +70°C pose no problem for the Sylomer® material, making it suitable for a wide range of demanding applications
